Zhihang Xu used to be a senior engineer of CIOMP. During working there for 30 years, he was experienced in alignment optical precise instruments. As main responsible person in the past 30 years, he worked on the alignment of large diameter reflecting telescope, large scale photoelectric theodolite, imaging spectrometer, IR surveillance system, star sensor, projection lens, zoom lens and microscope, and some of them won national and provincial rewards. He is admired by younger generations owing to his rigorous work attitude, the abundant experience of alignment and the skilled capacity of alignment.
